A proud son of Silvassa, Dr. Virajsinh Rathod brings a wealth of experience and local commitment to Om Imaging Centre. Rooted in the community, he completed his primary education at Father Agnelo English School and secondary and higher secondary schooling at Lions English School, excelling academically throughout.
His pursuit of medical excellence led him to B.J. Govt. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital in Pune for his MBBS, followed by an internship at B.J. Medical College and Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. Recognizing his passion for diagnostic imaging, Dr. Rathod specialized in Radiology, obtaining his DMRE from the College of Physicians & Surgeons in Mumbai after residency at Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Silvassa.
To further refine his skills, he gained invaluable experience at State Hospital, Dharampur, and Sanjeevani Nursing Home, Talasari. A six-month observership at Synergy Imaging, Surat, and the completion of the Certificate Course in Fetal Radiology & Genetics (CCFRG) under the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) have fortified his expertise.
Dr. Rathod is a dedicated member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), and is duly registered with both the Gujarat and Maharashtra Medical Councils.
With a deep-rooted connection to Silvassa and a fervent desire to serve the community, Dr. Rathod established Om Imaging Centre. His aim is to deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging services and extend compassionate care to patients in need.
